PLEASE HELP NEED ANSWER ASAP!!!!!

Explain how a mutation in a bacterial cell could help it become resistant to infection by a bacteriophage.

The surface of the cell contains protein

By which, bacteriophage can bind to it by protein

but in mutation, they change their genetic material, which do not contain protien

thus by this, it become resistant
