The sum is 60 2/4 or when reduced completely it is 60 1/2
When adding mixed fractions add the whole numbers together normally. Then, if the denominators (the bottom number) of both fractions are equal you can add the numerators (top number) together normally. The denominators stay the same in addition for the answer unless it is like this case and the answer can be reduced
