Why do scientists try to repeat other scientists’ experiments?

So that there are enough results to make a successful evaluation.

To see if the experiment works in real life, because, say, the scientist says "Oh, my experiment worked to make dinosaurs alive again." Multiple scientists try the experiments too to see if they are real, and maybe they can notice something new.
