L'Alsace is situated North East of France and has a common boarder with Germany.
La Loire (river) is the longest river in France. So they are many regions called Loire. La Loire goes through 12 départements ....
But what is called "Les Pays de La Loire" refers mainly to the part which is boarded by famous castles. It's West of France, below La Bretagne, in the Northern part of France, and goes till the Atlantic Ocean.
