Modern uneducated persons believe faith means to believe in having to act in according to a higher being. The modern intellectual know that faith and belief on reason is in having understanding of two types of moral judgements, how to live your life, how to treat others, happiness, and how to love. That is why this Karen Armstrong prefers ancient views because she knows ancient people spent more time studying nature and understood what it meant to respect each other.
