A sedimentary rock can change into an igneous rock or a metamorphic rock.

This is because of the rock cycle. In the rock cycle igneous can become sedimentary or metamorphic, metamorphic can become sedimentary or igneous, and, as stated above, sedumentary can either become igneous or metamorphic.
