(X1,Y1)=(2,5)

(X2,Y2)=(4,4)

Now the standard euation is,

Y-Y1=m(X-X1)

where m= ( Y2-Y1)/(X2_ X1)=(4-5)/(4-2)=-0.5

so

y-Y1= m( x- X1)

or, y-5=-0.5(x-2)

or, y-5=-0.5x+1

or, 0.5x+ y=1+5

or, x+2y=6×2

or, x+2y=12

This is the correct answer.
