If there is a mutation, and the wrong amino acid is put into sequence, what is the result?

There are two types of mutations, positive and negative. A positive mutation benefits the individual and the negative harms the individual. In some cases the mutation doesn't affect the individual at all. So, if the wrong amino acid is put into sequence the effects could either be positive, negative, or neutral.
