Answer: Containment is what the United States use to stop communism from spreading. China wants Korea to be communist, but the United States wants Korea to be communist-free. This starts the Korean War, China helped the North side of Korea while United States helped the South side of Korea. The Korean War divided Korea into North Korea and South Korea which is known today at the 38th Parallel.
