All the alleles for type A antigen

There are three antigens in the ABO blood group system, A, B and H. The ABO gene is located on chromosome 9 and has three alleles, A, B and O. The A allele encodes a glycosyltransferase that adds N-acetylgalactosamine to the glycoprotein H antigen that is expressed on all normal red cells.

Hope this helps:)
