Explanation:

Imagine this shape was a square, it's area would be 120 m².

Now imagine the little rectangle with 7 m as the side, you will have to work out the area of that so

Side = 7

4 + 4 + ? = 10

8 + ? = 10

? = 2

So the area of the little rectangle is 14 m²

Now we minus both of the areas : 120 - 14 = 106
