Explanation:

since it's a kite, there are two pairs of congruent (exactly the same shape) triangles

bc of this you can find one triangle from each pair and double it

e.g.


(6 * 8)/(2)=24


(12 * 8)/(2)= 48

so you would do 2(24+48)=144
