x(x)=1/4(30+60+x)

Explanation:

minutes spent on math homework= x

minutes spent on history homework= 30 min

minutes spent on English homework= 60 min

Total minutes spent on homework = x+30 +60

Also

x= 1/4(x+30 +60)

x= x/4 + 90/4

x-x/4= 90/4

(4x-x)/4=90/4

3x=90

x=30

Hence time spent on maths=30 min

total time spent= 30+60+30

= 120 min

1/4 of 120 min= 30 mins!
