An airplane has begun its descent for a landing. When the airplane is 150 miles west of its destination, its altitude is 32,000 feet. When the airplane is 100 miles west of its destination, its altitude is 14,000 feet. Explanation:

the plane is descending 18,000 feet every 50 miles. this means that it wont make it another 50 miles before it hits the ground making C the only possible answer.
