Hello i hope you are having a good day :) Question : A package was determined to have a mass of 5.7 kilograms. What's the force of gravity acting on the package on earth?

S firstly you would need to know the earth gravity force which is 9.807, now you have a mass of 5.7 kilograms so you would need to multiply the gravity force and mass so 9.807 x 5.7 = 55.8999 this would be newtons so your answer would be 55.8999N round that would be 55.9 N.

Hope that helps you.

The force of gravity on earth is 9.807, therefore you multiply earth’s gravitational force by the 5.7 kilograms which will give you 5.7 x 9.807=55.86 Newtons
