Gabriella bought a pile of brick wall. Yesterday , she used 5/8 of the bricks. Tommrow she plans to use another 1/4 of the brick wall. what fraction of brick pile will she have left after tommrow

You could turn the 1/4 into 2/8 to make it have a common denominator. When you add 2/8 and 5/8 you’ll obviously get 7/8. She’ll only have 1/8 left.
