Why deforestation increases the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere?

Because they plant more trees and these tree produce a lot more CO2 which is released
into the air.
Because plants decrease the amount of CO2 in the air. By decreasing the plan population
you decrease the amount of CO2 that can be removed.
All the machines used to cut down trees causes more CO2 in the air.
Deforestation does not have an effect on C02 levels.
