False.

Tort cases are cases where someone initially causes harm.

Ex: Punching someone

Criminal cases deal with broken laws and civil cases are people suing each other. Hurting someone is illegal.

But you can also sue someone if they cause harm to your car by hitting it. That's a civil case.

Tort cases are civil and criminal, not just criminal.

False , Tort cases not only falls under the jurisdiction of the state criminal courts but also under civil.

Explanation

Torture cases not only falls under criminal but also comes under civil. This act is illegal and can break the ‘right to freedom’ principle.

The law doesn’t allow anyone to hurt each other. Criminal cases are those cases where a crime is being suspected against an individual.

Civil cases are those cases where one individual’s freedom is disturbed. Thereby, the individual can make a case by suing against the former.
