It took alot because when you are a slave you feel many things; You might feel that this is the end and you will be a slave forever but you also feel hope. Hope that maybe you can escape and you wonder what itll be like. So it takes alot. Everyone wants freedom.
A lot of courage because u have to plan an escape and risk getting caught or snitched on , Iām pretty sure u would of been tortured badly if u got caught so they had too chose wisely and plan it all out in order to escape and find freedom
