Parents think they can control us and make us do whatever they want just because they put a roof over our head and feed us. They act like we aren’t humans too. They try to act like our life belongs to them is what this quote is saying.

Parent tend to act like our live are there’s too just cases they made us and feed use but the quote is say that the teen is telling there mom that their life is their life.
