Does anyone know what this means?

Someone lent me a book and they told me they left something inside and the picture attached shows the note that fell out and I have no clue what it means lol please help.

to be honest, I have NO idea what the equation is about. but, I know that the text means, “it’s as if the world were spinning”

so uh.. take that information and do whatever you want with it
