ok so 1 inch=30 yards so 4 inch=?

1/30=4/x

1x=30(4)

x=120

so the actual distance is 120 yards

Answer:

120 yards

Explanation:

We know that 1 inch = 30 yards

1 inch = 30 yards

But we want to work out how much yards in 4 inches so

1 inch = 30 yards

(Multiply by 4 to from 1 to 4 so we must multiply 30 by 4)

4 inch = ? yards

4 inch = 120 yards

Hope this helps :)

Have a great day !
