There is a gland in the brain that secretes a multitude of hormones. These hormones stimulate specific glands and tissues in the body: the thyroid gland, ovaries, testes, mammary glands, and the cortex of the adrenal glands. Some call this gland the master gland, but in fact it is stimulated by the hormonal effects of the hypothalamus. What is this gland?
