I am going to use factorization

0=

x^2+3x-18

0=(x-3)(x+6)

6x-3x-18

0= x^2+3x-18

I am just double checking to see if my factorization is right first.

(x-3)(x+6)=0

x-3+3= 0+3

x= 3

x+6=0

x+6-6=0-6

x=-6

Answer : x=3, x=-6
