PLEASE HELP QUICK!!! 15points!!

3. At what phase of meiosis is the number of chromosomes per cell doubled? (Think carefully about this.) What happens after that so that the number of chromosomes per cell does not end up being higher?


4. How many times does the cell divide during meiosis?


5. Why are the cells produced by meiosis considered gametes?

3. For humans, this means that during prophase and metaphase of mitosis, a human will have 46 chromosomes, but 92 chromatids (again, remember that there are 92 chromatids because the original 46 chromosomes were duplicated during S phase of interphase). I wish I can be much of a help
