When Mr. Robinson parks his car on a summer day, it's interior temp is 84 degrees. As the car sits, its interior temp rises at a rate of 2 degrees every 6 minutes. Mr. Robinson returns to his car after 48 minutes and starts driving with the air conditioning on. After 15 minutes, the cars interior temp is -28 degrees relative to what it was when Mr. Robinson started driving. What is the car's interior temp now

Answer:

72°

Explanation:

original interior temp= 84°

temperature rises at a rate of 2° in every 6 minutes

This means that after 48 minute temperature will be;

(48/6)×2° =16° ⇒16°+84°=100°

When he returned to the car temp was 100°

After driving temp was -28°+100=72°
