B. Epidemiology provides data that are used in biostatistics.

Epidemiology is the field that involves the study of the determinants and distribution model of health, injury or disease in human populations and also analyze the data and to apply this study to control the health problems whereas Biostatistics is the field that involves the study of application of statistics in medicine, health, and biological sciences.

It also analyze and interprets the data. Both epidemiology and biostatistics are related to each other. Their data is essentially required for the population study.
