Sadly the Japanese were treated terribly during WWII Because of the Bombing of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and so because of that act the Japanese made, it affected the lives of the Japanese Americans and were treated badly. If anything they were shunned and hated by Americans on the street because of that act. Especially when America and Japan were allies before.
