How has selective breeding changed organisms over time?

Through inbreeding, two closely related organisms reproduce to yield a purebred with desired traits. Since artificial selection reduces variation in a population, breeders must be careful that their selectively bred organisms do not become too susceptible to diseases or to environmental changes.

selective breeding has changed organisms over time by paring that organism up with another organism of its kind with desirable traits. take dogs for example, through selective breeding we now have many different types of dogs with different abilities. i hope this helps
