A comet is a body of rock, ice and dust that gets caught in orbit of the sun. Comet's are usually miles in diameter, and can be recognized by the long "tails" that trail behind them. This tail is made up of gasses and dust that trail miles and miles behind the comet.

D would be chur answer a cloud which is the atmosphere of the comet and can extend for millions of miles.
