The kidz world toy store used to have a section labeled "toys for boys" that included footballs, chemistry sets, and toy trucks, and a separate section labeled "toys for girls" that included dolls, play kitchen sets, and costume jewelry. last month the store's manager combined these two sections into one, and removed the gender labels. the manager hoped it would help people change their ideas about which toys are appropriate for a child. the manager is trying to change people's gender select one:

They are trying to reduce gender stereotyping.
