What is a equation, in slope-intercept form, of the line that passes through (0,5) and has a slope of -1?

Assuming the point is (0,5) the answer is y = -1x+5 because this equation has negative slope (-1, which is in front of the x) and it has a y-intercept of 5, which is the point (0,5)

So those two facts explain why the answer is y = -1x+5

Y= -1x +5

Just take out the zero for the y intercept.
