My friend and I are having an altercation as to which should be in her sentence.

They're never there for me.
Their never there for me.
There never there for me.

she says it's their never there, but I think it's they're because their is possessive while they're means they are... thoughts?

It’s definitely the first choice.

Hope this helps.
