Was the court case Tinker v. Des Moines and the Supreme Court’s decision a sign of the 1960’s what the(y?) became or was the 1960’s a sign of the decision that resulted from this court case? Explain your answer.

Anyone know what this question is asking or able to word it better?

This is a terribly worded question.

In essence Tinker reflects the basic reality that sometimes young people disagree with the choices of the elders and speak out and sometimes they do that in schools.

Vietnam was just a catalyst for the speech.
