a cone and a sphere have the same volume. the height of the cone is 96 units. what would be the values for the radius of the cone and the sphere?

I am assuming that the 2 radii are equal then:

1/3 pi r^2 * 96 = 4/3 pi r^3

then:

4/3 pi r^3 / 32 pi r^2 = 1

4/3r^3 / 32 r^2 = 1

4/3 r * 1/ 32 = 1

r = 32 * 3/4

= 24.
