HELP!!! I am writing an essay on the French Revolution and would like some help. The prompt is: Was the French Revolution a success or failure? Why?

It was a success in that it granted some rights for the people and some say in the government, but it was a failure in that it killed many French people and there was a lot of unnecessary bloodshed and violence.
