What effects did WW1 have on South Carolina?

The government improved transportation systems. The government opened military bases for training. The people of South Carolina bought Liberty Bonds. the price of crops fell,so farmers no longer enjoyed the prosperity they knew during the war most rural farmers gained electricity and running water.
