If x and y vary inversely, as y increase as, what happens to the value of x

inverse proportionality between 2 variables follows this .

y = k/x

where k is proportional constant

as value of one variable increases/decreases , value of other variable decreases/increases

so

if x increases, y will decrease

if x decreases , y will increase
