Dave is on a kayaking trip. On the first day, he travels 15 miles. On the second day, he travels 35 miles and the third day he rests. On the fourth day, he travels 57 miles and on the fifth day, he travels 43 miles. What is the average number of miles that he travels per day?​

second day = 35 miles

third day = 0 miles

fourth day = 57 miles

fifth day = 43 miles

the average number of miles that he traveled per day will be the media of the 5 days, this is M = (15 + 35 +0 +57 +43)/5 = So he walk in average 30 miles per day

If we only consider the days that he walked, we must discard the third day, and we get M = (150)/4 = 37.5 miles per day.
