Have students take notes on the difference between irony and paradox.

The term irony refers to a controversy or inconsistency between what is told and what is understood, or what is awaited for and what really happens, whereas the term paradox makes reference to an utterance that appears to be incongruous or ridiculous but actually denotes a possible fact.
