Small and Big cuboids

Required

Number of smaller cuboids in the big one

To do this, we calculate the volume of both cuboids.


Volume = Length * Width * Height

For the small cuboid


V_1 = 10cm * 3cm * 4cm


V_1 = 120cm^3

For the big cuboid


V_2 = 50cm * 30cm * 20cm


V_2 = 30000cm^3

The number of small in big is then calculated by diving the volumes


Number = (V_2)/(V_1)


Number = (30000cm^3)/(120cm^3)


Number = (30000)/(120)


Number = 250

Hence, there are 250 small cuboids in the large one
