Bob says that 5h and 5h^2 are like terms because they both have the variable h. Is Bob correct? Justify reasoning.

❖ Bob ISN'T correct. 5h^2 has an exponent of 2 while 5h only has an exponent of 1. 5h^2 and 5h are completely different due to the exponent.
