y=9.50x+100 -----> linear equation A

y=7x+320 -----> linear equation B

To find how many hours will it take for Malik and Linda to have an equal amount of money in their account, equate equation A and equation B


9.50x+100=7x+320

solve for x


9.50x-7x=320-100


2.50x=220


x=88\ hours
