What was Hitlers motivation for German expansion?

In his book "Mein Kampf", Hitler outlined his reasoning behind expanding German territory.

He wanted to provide "lebenstraum" or "living space" for the German people. Also, he wanted to unite all German speaking people by taking over all countries with large numbers of German speaking people.
