The formula for Potassium oxide is K2O

This is because potassium has a 1+ charge and the oxygen has a 2- charge. Two potassium atoms are required to balance the charge.

Hope This Helps You!

Good Luck (:

The formula of Potassium oxide is K2O. It is in solid state. It contains two atoms of Potassium and one atom of Oxygen. It is basic in nature because it is a metal oxide. As we know that metal oxides are basic in nature. It turns red litmus paper into blue which proves that it is a basic in nature that is base.
