Apollo and Zeus are both on diets. Apollo currently weighs 105 kg and is gaining 2 kg per month. Zeus currently weighs 130 kg and is losing 3 kg per month. In how many months will they weigh the same?​

2x+105=-3x+130

subtract 2x from both sides

105= -5x+130

Subtract 130 from both sides

-5x= -25

isolate the variable

x=5

Plug back in

2(5)+105= -3(5)+130
