CH3COOK is the formula of Potassium Acetate(or ethanoate).
CH3COO-K bond is formed between ethanoic acid and potassium hydroxide that forms Potassium acetate.

Answer: the formula of Potassium Acetate is CH3COOK. It contains one atom of potassium, two atom of carbon, two atom of Oxygen and three atom of Hydrogen. Potassium Acetate is the basic salt which is formed by the neutralization reaction of Acetic acid and Potassium Hydroxide. It is basic in nature. It turns red litmus paper into blue.
