The Vietnam War was a loss for the United Unites and a win for the communist North Vietnamese Army.

This was, in essence, a war of attrition by the North Vietnamese who made life just miserable enough for the Americans so that they would not want to continue fighting.

What was the outcome of the Vietnam War? What were some of the factors that contributed to that outcome?
