To find x intercept, you must set the y value equal to zero
0= -2x+4
Subtract 4
-4= -2x
Divide by -2
x=-4/-2= 4/2= 2
The x intercept is 2

To find the y intercept, you must set the x value equal to zero
y= -2(0)+4
y=4
The y intercept is 4
