well, one main way that we add to the CO2 in the atmosphere is the use of fire, coal, and cars that bur gasoline instead of diesel. also factory's that are run through coal furnaces, and steel factory's too. (steel is basically iron mixed with carbon) and the emissions from the processes are great contributors to the CO2 output.
